Greenwich's only micro garden centre
Alan's Plants is a small independent garden centre in East Greenwich, tucked into the Old Fire Station Yard behind 2 Tunnel Avenue and part of a local business hub of independent traders. It stocks garden, indoor and rare flowering plants and shrubs, and Alan — an RHS Silver Award winner — is on hand for planting and landscaping advice.
Regulars describe the plants as fresh and well-priced — better value than the supermarket or a florist — and single out Alan (and Colin) for friendly, knowledgeable help. It's a small, passionate operation with an unusually active following on Instagram, Facebook and Threads.
